The role:

  • Planning and supervision of a small warehousing team responsible for stock management, receiving, picking, assembly, packing and dispatch
  • Ensuring packing and dispatch of customer orders meets or exceeds KPIs
  • Arranging freight of dispatch orders and incoming goods
  • Management of receipt of raw materials
  • Plan and review shift objectives – forecast planning with sales and supply chain staff
  • Formal, documented reporting of all safety incidents, productivity and labour rostering
  • Ownership and administration of warehouse process – pickslips, processing dispatches etc
  • Team development and training – ensure employees know their role and daily objectives

About you:

  • At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar role
  • Previous experience with the supervision of small teams and cost control
  • Be organised and efficient and be able to grasp operational details and costs
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
  • Sound computer skills with previous experience with inventory systems preferred
  • Be hard working and reliable
  • Have a strong focus on quality and safety
  • The right to live and work in Australia
