Always wanted to get into the mining industry but don’t know where to start? Do you have experience in any of the following : Housekeeping, Kitchen Hand, Dining Room & Service Attendant, Industrial Cleaning, Bar work, Grounds maintenance?

FIFO Utilities Staff required for minesite roles on a 2:1 swing throughout various sites in Western Australia. These roles include – kitchen work, cleaning, housekeeping, accommodation, food service and bar work. Candidates need to be flexible to work in any department as required onsite.

Essential Requirements:

• Must currently live in Perth and able to fly out of Perth Airport
• Have strong all round hospitality experience
• Mining Camp Cleaning/Kitchen or Utilities experience highly regarded
• Ability to follow strict COVID-19 hygiene and social distancing requirements
• Able to use technology to complete online paperwork and inductions
• Strong time management skills
• Strong communicator
• Approachable and friendly personality
• Be able to pass a Pre-employment Medical & Pass a Drug Screen
• Some sites will require a National Police Check within last 6 months
• Valid Australian Manual driver’s license – is an advantage
• RSA Certificate is an advantage
• Must be able to provide 1-2 recent contactable work references

On Offer :

• Weekly pays on a Thursday
• $31.70 – $33.58 p.h Monday to Sunday + Public holiday rates
• ASAP starts with ongoing work
• Temp to Perm opportunities for the right candidates after 3-4 months

The recruitment process {2-3 weeks} :

• Shortlisted candidates will be phone screened or video interviewed
• Complete pre-employment paperwork online
• You will be required to attend a face to face information session in our Burswood Office with our recruitment team
• Complete Online Safety Inductions
• Medical and Drug Screen
• Complete Face to Face Site Induction if required
• Complete Site Entry Forms
• Pick up PPE and sign contracts
• Undergo COVID Testing if required by client or site
• Receive flights and mobilise to site
