ULD Officer – MNDC Mulgrave

 

 

The Opportunity

 

Reporting to the Freight Office Supervisor, this position exists to perform daily operational activities within the Distribution Centre concerning ULD’s (pallets, roll cages, crates, produce bins, etc).

 

The ULD Officer assumes responsibility of ensuring ULD processes are deployed and followed and accurate tracking and management of accounts occurs in a timely manner.

 

We are currently seeking a Full Time Permanent ULD Officer for our Woolworths Distribution Centre in Mulgrave, Victoria. 

 

 

The role

 

• Responsible for pallet control daily operations within assigned scope in line with National and State team guidance
• Ensure that all ULD’s are accounted for including reconciliation of ULD invoices and accounts
• Working closely with DC operations and Primary Connect ensuring efficient processes and guidelines are followed, with a view to continuously improve and optimise the workflow
• Coordination of equipment docket processes with DC staff, including dockets reconciliation
• Creating and maintaining de hire records within 2ic in line with set processes and schedules
• Take prompt action on any queries surrounding equipment control and applying problem solving skills
• Ensure minimised loss of ULD equipment throughout end to end supply chain process, applying and actively supporting a ‘zero tolerance’ policy for unnecessary expenditure and inefficiencies
• Ensure administrative process around equipment control are well documented and effective
• Build strong relationships with stores, DC operations and contracted carriers involved in the ULD network
• Ensuring safe work practices are adhered to, promoting safety policies and procedures on an on-going basis

 

About you

 

• Your previous ULD reconciliation skills within the Supply Chain industry will be mandatory. You will possess desirable knowledge of working with 2ic systems and hold strong organisational & time management skills. 
• You will require a high level of attention to detail, so experience in Administration or Office roles in Retail Supply Chain is a must.
• You will also possess:
• Intermediate to advanced  Excel skills required
• SAP experience ideal
• Strong customer service skills a must
• Experience with MYCHEP, Loscam online and TMS highly regarded
• A ‘Can do’ attitude
