Tyre Fitter

About the Role

As a Tyre Fitter for BestDrive Gosford  you are required to inspect, remove, repair and/or change tyres and rims on a wide range of vehicles. Candidates that show drive and potential and have a desire to progress their professional skills will be strongly considered. This position has the opportunity to progress into a Wheel Aligner role.  

The Tyre Fitter will;

• Inspect tubes and tyres to assess reparability.
• Carry out minor tube and tyre repairs.
• Repair and replace tubes and tyres using approved methods and equipment, according to industry and manufacturer specifications
• Balance wheels and tyres using equipment.
• Carry out work to industry standards and company expectations on quality and efficiency.
• Provide excellent customer service as required. 

Skills and Requirements

• Must have a Certificate II in Automotive Tyre Servicing Technology (or higher) or extensive professional experience. 
• Candidates must be able to work as an efficient member of a team.
• Success-orientated and holds a professional work ethic.
• Valid NSW Class C driver’s license (Manual and Automatic).
• Confident at working under pressure and towards deadline.
• Effective written, verbal and numeracy skills.
• Must have permanent work rights in Australia with no restrictions.
