About the role
You will be part of a team of 9 and one of 4 Training Coordinators, providing support across a workforce of nearly 1000 employees. You will analyse the training needs of new and existing employees, to ensure our people are provided with the right skills at the right time.
This is a role for someone with exceptional organisational skills, as you work alongside our business leaders to support and guide training planning and scheduling.
Working in a highly regulated environment and across blue collar workers means we have a lot of mandatory training and your role will be to ensure that mandatory and on boarding training is completed by all employees.
What does that look like on a day to day basis?
- Coordinating technical and compliance training via the Learning Management System to schedule attendees and facilitators.
- Allocating and scheduling work activities and on-the-job experiences required to meet the training plans of (mostly) technical teams.
- Providing support in using our LMS to employees and/or external customers.
- Providing advice and support to managers on learner needs, organisational training requirements and strategy for developing teams or individuals to meet their role requirements, or get them ready for their next role.
What this role is not, is a facilitator and as such we are not looking for you to have that skill set.
You donâ€™t require degree qualifications but an L&D background and/or a strong understanding of adult learning principles, as well as administrative and customer service or advisory experience is essential.
You have experience in coordinating training activities and events within a similar large and complex organisation, as well as in the use of an LMS system.
You are known for your strong communication and problem solving skills and you are always looking for process improvements. You are driven by your customer service approach and are flexible and adaptable to changing stakeholder needs and expectations
