Apprenticeship Careers Australia is implementing a NSW Government initiative, More Jobs More Care (MJMC), which is a state-wide talent development program to develop the skills of individuals wishing to become Disability Support Workers and then provide the opportunity for ongoing employment of trained individuals who will support people with disabilities fulfil their NDIS Plans.

Our North Coast team have several jobs across several locations with one of our larger clients to provide opportunities for people wishing to commence their support worker career. 

Prior to being considered for employment, you will need undertake a free, short, pre-employment training program designed to give you the initial nationally recognised competencies to move straight into the disability support sector with confidence.

We will also pay for your First Aid Certificate training, and reimburse you for the mandatory Police Check, NDIS Check and the Working with Children Check once you commence the training.

The program will be delivered by one of nationally accredited and government approved Registered Training Organisations and is completely free of charge and includes:

• Comply with Infection Control
• Safe Work Practices for Direct Client Care
• Communicate & Work in Health & Community Services
• Provide First Aid
• Provide Individualised Support

No prior experience is necessary and our MJMC team will provide ongoing mentoring and support once you gain employment, post your course completion.

Permanent full and part time job opportunities available along with Traineeships which will lead to a nationally recognised Certificate III qualification.
