About us

We are a small family business providing Tropical North Queensland with a unique rainforest experience on ATVs. Our tours are a slow paced journey (max 15 kph) on well maintained tracks & a couple of creek crossings with several stops along the way for interpretation. A unique fun, safe & enriching experience! Qualifications & experience

• Tour guiding experience
• Quad bike riding experience & training
• First aid Certificate
• Wet Tropics Tour Guide Certificate
• Driver’s license with ability to get an Industry Authority
• Passionate about nature/ outdoors -Not afraid of wildlife (cassowaries included)
• Knowledgeable about local area
• A great storyteller & be able to build rapport with people all ages (kids, adults, seniors)
• Be able to use common sense in critical situations
• Permanent resident looking for a long-term position, initially casual, but may lead to a permanent position

Tasks & responsibilities

• Guiding small groups on our ATV tours in a secluded property near Kuranda
• Assisting customers riding ATVs safely (induction, training, assessing capabilities & monitoring their riding)
• Processing payment (cash/ Eftpos transactions)
• Presenting features of our property in an engaging and professional way (rainforest, history, exotic fruits, boutique distillery, wildlife). You will receive training from us.
• Some basic gardening/ cleaning/ general maintenance jobs
• Using an action camera/ professional camera to take engaging footage (photos/ videos) during the tours
