Short Description:
Infosys is seeking Technology Lead – Python/Java and AWS.

You will participate and lead different phases of engagements including Design Considerations, Build Activities and Validation, Guiding teams at onshore/offshore locations on technical aspects.
Roles and Responsibilities:
In the role of Technology Lead, you will interface with key stakeholders and apply your technical proficiency across different stages of the Software Development Life Cycle including Requirements Elicitation, Story Grooming, Application Architecture definition and Design. You will play an important role in creating the high-level design artifacts and Technical Designs. You will also deliver high quality code deliverables for a module, lead validation for all types of testing and support activities related to implementation, transition, and post deployment support.
In this role you may also be engaged for Effort Estimation and Proposal Development, Diagnostic /Discovery/As Is Assessment, Solution Evaluation and Recommendation, Conduct Solution POCs, Performance Tuning and benchmarking, Training and Change Management, Knowledge Transfer, Technical Issue Resolution (Incident/Problem Resolution) pertaining to applications. Skills /Competencies:
Essential:

• Tertiary Qualification in IT / Computer Science / related discipline.
• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• Australia citizens and those authorized to work in the Australia are encouraged to apply.
• Candidate must be located within commuting distance of Melbourne, Australia or be willing to relocate to the area. This position may require travel.
• At least 8+ years of Relevant Information Technology preferably in Retail Domain with minimum 3 years of work experience at a technical lead level in a commercial setting
• Hands-on extensive experience in Microservices development, API definitions, Java 8 and 11, AWS Cloud Platform and Services, AWS Cassandra, ELK, Drools Rule Engine, Spring Cloud Services, AWS Kafka and MQ, App Dynamics, API Gateway, Spring Boot, Relational and/or NoSQL databases (DynamoDB, Cassandra and Document)
• Extensive hands-on experience using AWS services: EC2, EFS and EBS, S3, ELB, WAF, Lambda, IAM, Autoscaling, CloudFormation, Cloud Watch, Cloud Trail, DMS, Lake Formation, Kinesis, Kafka, RDS, Aurora, Glue, DynamoDB, EKS and ECS with ECR, Docker, API GW, code pipeline, code repository, code build and Jenkins, etc.
• Understanding of concepts such as: containerization, server less computing, elastic scalability, high performance RDBMS/NoSQL, big data, Cassandra DSE, Kafka, etc. Knowledge on various components like Docker Engine, Hub, Machine, Compose and Docker Registry.
• Implementation or working experience of Continuous Integration and Continues Delivery using tools and automation capabilities such as JUnit, Mocking, TestNG, Jenkins, Git, Stash and Jira
• Ability to work in a diverse/ multiple stakeholder environment
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Good to have: AWS certification – Solutions Architect or Developer Associate

Preferred:

• Ability to analyze solution requirements
• Experience and desire to work in a Global delivery environment
• Strong communication and facilitation skills with offshore team
