Located within the School of Art & Design (SOA&D), the Technical Officer provides technical support to the day-to-day operations, maintenance and management of the facilities and associated equipment of the School.

Position overview

The Technical Officer will work under the general direction of the Technical Services Team Coordinator, and liaise closely with the SOA&D Technical Services Team, the SOA&D WHS Consultant and the School Manager, for the safe delivery of teaching, research and engagement activities and the maintenance of associated equipment and facilities of the School, to ensure that all operations meet legislative and University requirements. The position will work closely with academic and professional staff, students, visitors and external collaborators. Applicants must be technically proficient in the processes of two or more disciplines where experience in ceramics will be highly desirable.

The ANU College of Arts and Social Sciences (CASS) is one of seven Colleges at ANU.
