About the role:
Working within a multidisciplinary team of talented and experienced paediatric speech language pathologists and occupational therapists, you will provide evidence-based speech language pathology assessment and intervention services to children and young people aged from 2 to 18 years â€“ including individual therapy, group programs, school-based, clinic-based and telehealth supports.
You will be a therapist focusing on therapy (not administration) backed by local and national administration teams who take care of booking appointments, invoicing and managing NDIS changes. You will be supported through a gradual ramp up period to a full caseload which is flexible to your needs.
You will be passionate about making a difference with a focus on making therapy fun, engaging and meaningful for families. You will have exceptional communication skills that enable you to work with children with a wide range of abilities and to collaborate with families and other health professionals to deliver quality, evidence-based outcomes.
Experienced in working with children and/or people with disability, you will have the appropriate professional registrations: SPA membership, Working with Children Check, National Police Check, First Aid, Driverâ€™s License & NDIS Worker Screening Check.
