Speech Pathologists (2) are invited to apply for this exciting opportunity to join a team of 11 speech pathologists and 3 admin staff.
- Based at Malvern East clinic
- some work from home is possible
- four or five days each week
- begins late Jan 2022
- paid introductory training from Feb 2022 including Lidcombe Program Workshop
- mix of in clinic and telepractice
- preschool and primary school-aged children who stutter
- comprehensive training and weekly scheduled mentoring

The team is comprised of early career speech pathologists, as well as clinicians who are highly experienced and also researchers and academics in stuttering. This role will suit you if you (1) desire to work in an area with a strong evidence base, and (2) wish to develop high expertise in a specific area of practice. Professional development and support will come from colleagues who are also University lecturers, clinical educators and workshop presenters. There will also be ample opportunity to observe team members doing therapy, and to receive weekly scheduled support.
Key selection criteria: (1) commitment to excellence, (2) a respect for evidence based practice, (3) high interest in stuttering, and (4) excellent communication skills. I welcome applications from experienced and early career/new graduates.
Speech Pathology Australia membership, professional indemnity insurance and a WWC check are required.
Either salary or pay based on % of income generated are possible: both will be commensurate to your experience.
