Slices Family Restaurant has been in operation since 1990 when opening our first Keilor store. We have since opened 2 more sites in Caroline springs & Doreen. Slices has years of experience in the industry and are renowned for their rustic Italian cuisine. The family restaurants operates as Dine in or takeaway and each location seats 250 plus customers. It also caters for functions from Birthdays to Christenings or any corporate event.
To be considered for this role, candidates must:
Be a natural and approachable “hands-on” team player that motivates and works with the team to be consistent and efficient in service and quality.
Have previous work experience in high volume restaurants serving modern and traditional Italian Cuisine.
Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and time management skills
Be creative, inventive and have a passion for modern food techniques and menu development
Be a professional and enthusiastic team player who can drive and motivate the team they work with
A passion for the industry and the want to know what’s on trend in the industry
Have a comprehensive knowledge of current OHS & Food Safety Procedures

Working closely with the Directors & Head Chef to achieve the best quality food & service.
This is an exciting role for a creative, energetic and hard working Professional to establish themselves in a ever growing company.
You will be responsible for but not limited to…
- Involved in Specials and menu development with our Head Chef
- Food safety
- Day to day running in Head Chefs absence
- Leading & Mentoring Junior staff
- Liaising with FOH to ensure a smooth and enjoyable customer experience
