The Service Supervisor has two broad areas of responsibility. You will coordinate paperwork for incoming service and repair for all pumps and products, enter jobs into system and prioritise jobs, in consultation with the Service Manager.
The individual also provides verbal and written advice to staff and customers for service and repairs quotations, maintains records, consistent with procedures, files reports and performs data entry.
In addition, the Service Supervisor is accountable for providing guidelines on avenues for service growth and the adaptations necessary to respond to market or customer requirements, and promotes the sale of the hire and workshop services to existing and potential customers to further increase the market share.
Empowering workshop staff with the Service manager, through training and sound leadership, to take ownership and responsibility for actions to meet objectives is a critical part of the role. Supervision and direction of staff will be required along with the performance of tasks to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the service, rental and workshop functions.
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A significant experience in a trade / Maintenance support environment
- Demonstrated experience in a service supervisory capactity with exposure to business management principles
- Understanding of the pump industry
- A Current drivers license
- High attention to detail with exceptional organisation skills
- Good Leadership skills
- Enthusiasm and self-motivation
