We are seeking an energetic General Surgeon who is looking to enlarge his/her general surgical experience.
Remuneration value up to $441 904 p.a. (L25-L27) or Remuneration value up to $404 286 (L18 – L24) employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%), annual leave loading (17.5%), professional development allowance, motor vehicle allowance, professional development leave 3.6 weeks p.a., plus private practice arrangements

Purpose of the role
Assist in the provision of an effective, efficient and equitable General Surgical service within the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
Your opportunity
We are looking for a Senior Staff Specialist or Staff Specialist General Surgery to facilitate the delivery of high-quality surgical services to patients of the Cairns and Hinterland Hospital and Health Service.
- It is a condition of employment for this role for the employee to be, and remain, vaccinated against the following vaccine preventable diseases during their employment (Health Employment Directive No. 01/16):
