What you’ll do
The Senior People Partners (Senior HR Business Partners) are a pivotal connector between the University and the People Portfolio and are essential with driving positive change and delivering performance outcomes in line with USQ’s strategic plan by partnering with the University’s leadership teams, staff and other stakeholders.
Your expertise will provide strategic and operational advice and direction to facilitate people-related decision making and increase leader-led capability to achieve the performance and change outcomes required by the University. Your passion to interact, coach and influence at a strategic level will lead and embed initiatives across all business functions including:
- case management and employee relations;
- organisational change and realignments;
- workforce planning, recruitment and talent management;
- diversity and inclusion initiatives and strategies;
- performance development and management
What will help you succeed?
We are looking for a customer-centric individual that can use their experience and strengths to inspire change for USQ. The successful candidate must have Tertiary qualifications in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Business Management, Workplace Relations, Law or similar are required with substantial proven business partnering experience in human resources, employee relations, industrial relations, wellbeing, rehabilitation, safety and recruitment.
Your ability to manage and lead the successful delivery of a range of services, diagnose issues and provide high-level advice through the interpretation and application of legislation, policy and procedures, deliver results quickly and be able to adapt to emerging priorities whilst building positive relationships will be crucial.

Term: Full-time continuing appointment (36 hrs/week)
Salary: Total remuneration range $136,561 to $144,481 pa (includes salary range of $115,388 to $122,079 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
