Senior Analyst, Financial Control

Your new role
This 12 month contract has been designed to help support the Manager, Technical Accounting and Policy and Manager, Financial Control through merger activities that impact the Financial Control and Regulatory Reporting team. The role will support a continuous review process and involve challenging assumptions, identification of issues and recommendation of solutions. Advanced analytical skills are essential as is the ability to identify when issues require escalation.
There are three main areas to this role. Firstly, to assist with merger activity covering due diligence, regulatory requirements, and post-merger financial control activities. Secondly, to support the Financial Control Activity by preparing KPI reporting, data validation and documenting policies, to name a few. And finally, to support technical accounting by documenting accounting positions and maintaining and managing the library of technical policies.
What you’ll need
- Tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or a related discipline.
- Completion of CA/CPA, or equivalent.
- Experience in Mergers/Transactional services activity is highly desired
- Experience working in financial or professional services organisations is highly desired.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to present ideas, perspectives, and issues to senior management.
