Security Officer / Gate Warden – Permanent Part Time

Benara Nurseries, Australia’s Largest Wholesale Nursery, is a WA family owned and operated business operating since 1963.

We are seeking a Security Officer for alternating week day shifts of approx 6.5 to 7.5 hrs per day and every second Saturday during Trademart hours. Minimum of 75 hrs per fortnight.

Primarily manning the main gate office duties will include;

• opening and closing the site morning or evening,
• recording vehicle movement to and from the site,
• ensuring all visitors are checked in and wearing appropriate PPE for the area they will be attending,
• notifying personnel of the arrival of visitors as they arrive
• alerting management to any issues or concerns with security
• other adhoc duties within the nursery.

You will require a current West Australian Drivers license, police clearance and steel capped safety shoes.

Proof of Covid19 vaccination must be provided on commencement

Non smokers preferred.
