We need someone who is self-driven and passionate about promoting industry-leading chemical products to join our team and operate primarily in the greater Melbourne area. You will need to identify suitable new business opportunities and develop them into long-term customers, and establish yourself as a trusted consultant to our valued product users and distributors, providing them with excellent service and support.

Ideally the successful candidate will love being “in the field” meeting and building relationships with a wide range of people, and will be a product advocate and problem solver. They will understand the need for new business and thrive in finding new opportunities.

As your efforts lead to sales growth you will be well rewarded.

In the evaluation of your application, we will be considering your:

  • Experience and past performance in sales growth and portfolio management
  • Ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Approach to solving problems and helping clients to improve their business
  • Responsibility and accountability for your productivity and results
  • Understanding of account management
  • Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders at all levels of responsibility
  • Capacity to work autonomously as well as a part of a team where appropriate
  • Organisational, communication and time management skills
  • Aptitude for and experience in providing product training to customers

Although not essential, we will also consider your:

  • Technical aptitude for the application of chemical products
  • Experience in chemical sales, commercial cleaning and/or professional floor care industries, which would be very helpful

Work in partnership with our team and our clients.

If you join us, we’ll work closely with you to ensure you understand our company ethos and the way we work with our clients, and as a team. We’ll provide support and mentoring to enable you to deliver real value to our clients.

A company car will be provided, as will the necessary devices for the completion of your duties. Alternatively we can pay a car allowance should you choose to use your own vehcicle.

After a qualifying period, commissions on sales will be paid in addition to your base salary.
