As the successful candidate, you will:
- Develop project-specific risk management plans
- Plan and facilitate risk workshops, risk reviews, quantitative cost and schedule risk analysis (contingency analysis)
- Plan and facilitate hazard studies (i.e. HAZAN, HAZOPs) and other safety studies (i.e. LOPA, SIL)
- Assess the effectiveness of risk management processes across the organisation and advise engagement and higher-level management on how to enhance risk management effectiveness over time
- Assist with the development of risk management procedures and functional guides
- Assist the Global Director Risk Management with business development and client engagement
You will bring to the role.
You will have solid experience in risk management, including workshop facilitation involving large groups of people and the ability to articulate how risk creates value on projects. Tertiary qualification in engineering, with RPEQ/CPEng status or suitable business qualifications. Professional risk or project management designation would also be desirable Your will have applied knowledge of International Risk Management Standards, i.e., ISO 31000, ISO 31010, IEC 62198, PRAM and PMI. Ideally, you will be knowledgeable with bow-tie analysis and related software
Your Ability to lead hazard study workshops (HAZAN, HAZOP, Construction and Commissioning Safety Studies) and other technical analysis techniques (i.e. LOPA, SIL, machine guarding) combined with knowledge of quantitative models of cost and schedule, including quantitative risk analysis tools will contribute to your success in the role.
This position may require travel to other Hatch offices or project sites. This requirement can sometimes be extensive and be required with relatively short notice.
