IHMS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Primary Care Nurse to assist us in our clinic located in Broadmeadows.
The Role:
In this role you would be working as a part of the multi-disciplinary team and would be responsible for providing primary health care services to the people in the Immigration Detention Center at Broadmeadows. You will also be responsible to:
- Ensure accuracy and maintenance of medical records and compliance with professional standards.
- Contribute to the development of clinical standards, policies and procedures
- Administer medications and immunisations as prescribed
- Undertake any other duties as determined by the Health Service Manager or delegate as requested.
Required:
- Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
- Minimum 3 years experience in Primary Health nursing
- Advanced clinical assessment and management skills
- Current First Aid or BLS certification
- Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
- Full working rights in Australia
