IHMS is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Primary Care Nurse to assist us in our clinic located in Broadmeadows.

The Role:

In this role you would be working as a part of the multi-disciplinary team and would be responsible for providing primary health care services to the people in the Immigration Detention Center at Broadmeadows. You will also be responsible to:

• Ensure accuracy and maintenance of medical records and compliance with professional standards.
• Contribute to the development of clinical standards, policies and procedures
• Administer medications and immunisations as prescribed
• Undertake any other duties as determined by the Health Service Manager or delegate as requested.

Required:

• Current AHPRA Registration as a Div. 1 Registered Nurse
• Minimum 3 years experience in Primary Health nursing
• Advanced clinical assessment and management skills
• Current First Aid or BLS certification
• Current Federal Police Check or willingness to obtain
• Full working rights in Australia
