We are seeking an experienced Recruitment Advisor, to join our Services Team in Henderson on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

Your Responsibilities

The Recruitment Advisor will report directly to the Services Center Manager, and will be responsible for managing recruitment activities across the national business. Accountable for effective delivery of all aspects of the recruitment process, as well as initial stages of on-boarding.

Duties of this role include but are not limited to;

  • Manage end to end recruitment process including conducting interviews and assessment through to closing by taking responsibility for the offer process and closing the deal i.e. employment contracts etc.;
  • Work with the HR Team to ensure an efficient and compliant recruitment & selection process is carried out in order to attract high calibre candidates through advice and guidance on job design, capability assessment and candidate evaluation;
  • Perform thorough background and reference checks on all potential candidates prior to job offer;
  • Arrange new starter information distribution;
  • Build and maintain an effective blue collar casual pool by monitoring candidate availability, previous performance and providing regular candidate communications;
  • Increase tkIS-AU visibility and sell the tkIS-AU business and direction to potential candidates in a highly competitive employment market;
  • Work with the Mobilisation Team to ensure the immediate recruitment activity is aligned to our clients shutdown requirements and optimise our hire-to-mobilise success rate; and
  • Any other duties as directed by Service Center Manager and Head of Human Resources.

Your Profile

Successful candidates must demonstrate the following competencies to be shortlisted;

  • Tertiary Degree or Diploma in a relevant field (preferred);
  • A minimum of 6 years practical experience in Recruitment (White & Blue Collar) or Human Resources;
  • Proven experience with Recruitment Coordination managing high volume resourcing for shut downs;
  • Proficient time management skills within a fast paced environment;
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build valuable relationships with internal and external stakeholders; and
  • Demonstrated ability in maintaining strict confidentiality.
