Receptionist / Chiropractic Assistant

The primary purpose of this position is to welcome and service our patients, ensure the smooth day-to-day running of our practice and to attend to general administration and reception duties.

 

Specifically, the main responsibilities of this role include:

  • Answering the phone and scheduling appointments
  • Managing our online booking system
  • Servicing and corresponding with patients (in-person, phone, email)
  • Liaising between patients and practitioners
  • Managing resources
  • Maintaining a confidential filing system
  • Keeping the clinic organised, well-presented and running smoothly
  • Providing general support to practitioners

 

The successful applicant will be friendly, warm and caring, well-organised, well presented, a clear communicator with an excellent telephone manner, demonstrate initiative, have a personal interest in healthy lifestyle practices and be willing to work in a team environment.

 

The successful applicant is expected to have previous reception experience (health field preferred) and an understanding of chiropractic care. Training will be provided to use our specific computer software.

 

This is a casual position of approximately 10 hours per week. Applicants must be available to work shifts on Monday evenings, Friday mornings and occasional Saturday mornings.

 

Salary will be $27.50 per hour (higher rate on Saturdays).

 

Due to mandatory state government laws, the successful applicant is required to be fully vaccinated to work within our clinic. Evidence of this is required prior to commencing employment.
