We are currently recruiting a Public Area Attendant to join our highly motivated and experienced team. You will undertake public area and housekeeping duties in an efficient and friendly manner while achieving the highest level of guest satisfaction.

Your new role will:

  • Maintain cleanliness of assigned public areas including hallways, footpaths, rubbish bins
  • Operate machinery required for public area cleaning in a safe manner i.e. blowers, carpet cleaners
  • Ensure all trolleys and housekeeping equipment is clean, tidy and stored appropriately at all times
  • Ensure any lost property is recorded and correct procedure is followed
  • To respond to all guest requests in a prompt and efficient manner

You will have:

  • Previous experience in a housekeeping, cleaning or other similar role gained within a quality hotel environment is advantageous
  • All roles around Ayers Rock Resort are of a physical nature and require a reasonable level of fitness and physical ability to perform the role safely as outlined in departmental procedures.
  • Ability to work well in a team and independently as required
