Job tasks and responsibilities 

Due to growth in projects our Field service department we seek suitable Service Technicians with hands on skills to get involved with the managing of projects form the quotation to installation and commissioning. If you have an electrical background and looking to advance your career in this direction we would like to hear from you. 

Reporting to the Service Manager and working with an established project team you will be assigned projects and be required to work in a busy environment to meet deadlines. You will be required to travel to sites, occasionally out of town and working hours need to be flexible. 

The candidate will be required to organise and plan activities for projects and a willingness to get hands on with commissioning. Training will be provided. The understanding of the control philosophy for fired combustion burner systems and related controllers an advantage. 

Constantly being on the move and meeting various people requires a pleasant demeanor and good communication skills. A team player that others can rely on.

The candidate needs to demonstrate key company values of respect, reliability and honesty. 

Skills and experience

The candidate will need to have min 5 years post electrical trade experience, current electrical licence, have mechanical aptitude and previous experience managing work sites.

You will be required to read wiring diagrams, P&ID drawings and have fault finding ability. Knowledge of the Australian standards an advantage. A valid Australian drivers licence and good driving record.

You need to be self motivated and willing to learn with a keen can do attitude. A determination to achieve, and progress as a team player is a must.
