Role and Responsibilities

As Project Manager, you will lead and manage the project team to ensure effective delivery of your projects. You will work closely with the client and other stakeholders. In doing so representing the company in a professional and proactive manner.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Overall successful initiation, planning, design, execution, monitoring, control and closure of project.
  • Direct team to project closure through proactive activity and resource planning.
  • To foresee / predict the project risks, and to plan, organise and control activities to enable successful project delivery.
  • Developing and building strong rapport with project team, internal and external stakeholders
  • Direct team to deliver quality performance and consistently achieve their targets and goals
  • Provide client satisfaction in project delivery providing opportunities to create return business.
  • Managing WHS compliance, including maintain a safe and healthy workplace for all project related personnel.

 

To be considered for the role of Project Manager you will require:

  • Bachelor Degree of Building, or Construction Management or commensurate industry experience of 10 years minimum.
  • 7+ years post graduate experience working on construction projects
  • A technical working knowledge of all major building trades
  • A technical working knowledge of structural and civil engineering design principles including building design process
  • A strong contract and commercial understanding
  • Financial acumen to ensure projects run within budgetary constraints.
  • Strong leadership in WHS, Quality and IR with Client-focused approach
  • Computer literate, including Intermediate to advanced MS Word, Project, Excel, Outlook
