Job Description
Our Engineering business has recently been strengthened through the acquisitions of Lendlease Engineering and the Geotech Group, positioning ACCIONA as a leading provider of engineering services within the infrastructure sector. We provide services to public and private clients with a focus on Roads, Bridges and Tunnels, Rail and Civil Infrastructure projects.
Acciona is looking to engage a Project Engineer to contribute to the successful planning and delivery of the Bunbury Outer Ring Road Project.
Reporting to the Construction Manager you will and assist with the planning, execution and closing of the project. Throughout this period, the Project Engineer will provide technical, administrative and Safety, Environmental, Quality & Sustainability (HSEQS) support to the Project Manager and Supervisors. These relationships require constant interaction and liaising, as does your relationship with any direct-reporting Site Engineers.
Whilst there are a number of people responsible for the actual construction of the works, a key requirement for you is to be able to accurately report on how your projects are running (i.e. cost, time, scope and quality) at all times, requiring you to know and understand your daily costs.
Further to this, you will be involved with developing, implementing, recording and monitoring engineering and other management plans for the project, in consultation with the Project Manager. You will also be directed by the Project Manager to assist the project delivery team with any required administrative tasks, including onsite matters relating to HSEQS, as well as logistics and procurement.
Required Skills and Competencies
With a tertiary engineering qualification, you will be able to demonstrate solid experience as a project-based engineer in the construction engineering industry, in related disciplines such as civil earthworks and roadworks.
