Program Manager – Retail

We are seeking an experienced Program Manager to work within our Retail team to digitize operations and create scalable and efficient processes and systems (Retail Transformation) and undertake a wide range of enterprise level programs of work to achieve this.

The purpose of this role is to manage the scheduling, on time delivery and reporting of these large programs of work and ensuring that rollout to the large base of Buyers, IAS and suppliers is undertaken in a wholistic and considered manner. 

This role is responsible for a range of tasks related to the delivery and support and will ensure effective communication, alignment and engagement between business stakeholders, technical teams, external suppliers and other key functions within the business. 

 

No two days are alike here at Catch but you could expect your typical day to include some of the following things:
 

  • Develop project management plans including project timelines, milestones, resource needs using appropriate project management tools to deliver effective results.
  • Drive the end-to-end management of all project phases from requirements analysis, solution design, development, systems testing, training, implementation and transition in accordance with the project methodology to meet business objectives.
  • Develop and maintain the project schedule to identify the duration of the project, dependencies, key milestones and deliverables and critical paths to ensure an effective and timely project delivery.
  • Establish cross-functional partnerships with internal and external teams and lead and deliver cross-functional projects 
  • Support the project by interpreting and influencing both the external and internal environments and by creating positive relationships with stakeholders through the appropriate management of their expectations and agreed objectives.
  • Ensure the effective and compelling communication of the approach and resulting actionable insights to the key business stakeholders, external suppliers and vendors at all levels.

 

The skills you’ll have

  • Tertiary qualified in relevant discipline (Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, Computer Science).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a similar role with proven track record of successful project delivery and program management.
  • Experience leading projects, ideally in retail, within an agile development methodology.
  • Industry experience in e-commerce & retail & supply chain is preferred.
  • Applied knowledge of Project Management applications such as MS Project, Visio, financial tracking tools and at least one project management discipline / methodology, eg PRINCE2, PMBOK, AIPM. 
  • Strong presentation and demonstrated stakeholder management and communication skills to translate analytical solution outcomes in the context of business impacts and benefits to a non-technical audience.
  • Understanding of API integrations and technical requirements.
  • Results-driven and accountable for delivering on growth targets.
  • Proactive self-starter and able to identify new partnership opportunities independently.
  • Highly organised and able to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent communication skills, by which we mean you’ll be able to produce business case and project plan documentation, create reports and status to Senior Management.
