We as a growing company at Collins Metal Fabrications would like to offer an opportunity for a Production Manager to join our great team! 3 month trial with a full time position available for the right applicant. 

The scope of projects undertaken includes a broad range of building structures varying from small to medium industrial and commercial projects. We require the services of a Production Manager to join our team and assist with our rapidly growing workload of projects. 

Applicant will be responsible for communicating with clients, suppliers, co-workers, and management effectively to manage multiple projects at once.

 Key tasks undertaken in this role are: 

-Manage and coordinate work through our factory and onsite works 

– Manage and lead a team 

-Liaise with management to create work schedules and timelines 

-Ensure all staff understand and comply with safety standards 

-Assist in the development and roll out of safe work procedures 

-Ensure compliance with quality standards across all areas of production 

-Extensive experience/trade qualified in metal fabrication preferable 

-Excellent communication and organisation skills 

-Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines 

The role is a busy and varied role and encompasses many aspects of the overall manufacturing and assembly. The applicant must have effective skills in communication, organization, planning, prioritizing, computing, and reporting. 

A background in the Engineering / Manufacturing / Building industry would be an advantage as well as at least 2-3 years management experience. The days are structured around a 6.30am – 3 pm working day with Fridays finishing at 12.30pm. Hours are flexible aslong as the work is getting done
