Picker Packer/Store Person (Forklift Licence Required) AM & PM Shifts

About the business and the role

Oriental Merchant is an established importer/distributor of Asian grocery products. We are looking for our next warehouse superstar to join the team in our Carole Park warehouse AM (06.30am to 02.30pm) SHIFT & PM SHIFT (02.30pm to 10.30pm)!

Job tasks and responsibilities

You will be bulk picking  grocery product orders, which includes lifting heavy items.  The environment is busy and requires a high attention to detail and awareness of your surroundings.

This is a full-time permanent role in the AM shift: 06.30am to 02.30pm and the PM Shift: 02.30pm to 10.30pm.

• Full time salary contract, Annual Leave, Personal Leave, Long Service Leave.

We are looking for Warehouse store person to join our team on a full-time permanent.

A major part of this role will be  providing a hand with general warehouse work, including picking, replenishing etc. 

Successful applicants will:

• Hold a current High Risk Work Licence (Forklift);
• Be able to focus on being accurate and productive;
• Experience with an RF scanner is advantageous;
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment;
• Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work;
• Have a high attention to detail.

Previous experience working in a warehouse with palletising and RF scanning would be looked upon favorably.
