Job Description
We require the services of an experienced receptionist / dispensary technician for a full time position in our busy compounding pharmacy.
This role will be a combination of administration and dispensary duties such as:
- Dispensing Viatmins and OTC
- Taking prescription orders
- Answering phones
- Booking appointments
- Respond to patient enquiries via phone, email, social media and website contact forms
- Diary management
- Organising staff meetings and taking minutes
- Stock take
- Ordering front of shop
Skills required:
– Experience in pharmacy work
– Experience with Pharmacy Software (RxOne preferable)
– Experience in dispensing of pharmacy products
– Good knowledge of nutraceutical / Vitamin products
– Must possess above average organisational skills
– Excellent IT skills
– Work well under pressure/busy environment
– Good presentation
– Excellent customer service skills
– Willing to learn and have interest in all aspects of pharmacy and health
– Must be capable of working in a team environment
Our business is open from 8.30am – 5.30pm Monday to Friday. The successful applicant will be required to work at least 20 hours a week during these business hours.
What we look for in a candidate
– Experience using RxOne (not essential)
– Interests in health and integrated medicine
– Qualifications in pharmacy dispensing (not essential)
– Knowledge in compounding (preferred)
– Previous experience using a practice management software (preferably Clinic to Cloud)
– Experience using WordPress & Social Media Platforms (Not Essential)
