Personal Care Worker – Community

About the Role:      

Due to recent growth in the area we now have Permanent Part Time positions available with our At Home Support team supporting clients across all areas on the Sunshine Coast.

We are searching for Personal Care Workers to help us assist our clients stay connected to their community and remain comfortable in their own home for as long as possible.

  • Provide personal care services such as showering and toileting
  • Assist with meal preparation
  • Medication prompting
  • Provide light housekeeping duties
  • Transport clients to appointments or assist with grocery shopping
  • Social support 

What We Need From You:  

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care or equivalent (min. requirement)
  • Prior experience in aged or community care is preferred, but not essential. Full training will be provided
  • Have a commitment and passion for assisting older people
  • Hold a valid driver Licence (min. P1)
  • Have a reliable and comprehensively insured car
  • Current First Aid and CPR, or willing to obtain prior to commencement
  • Current National Police Check or willing to obtain
  • First COVID – 19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement for all Aged Care employees from 17 September 2021
