The Role: 

The Paid Performance Lead will be responsible for our entire paid performance offering, including our systems and platforms, processes, team and ultimately constantly delivering results to our clients across all paid media channels. 

You will also create a paid media offering that will establish our approach in other markets including NZ, the UK, and Asia. 

You will be expected to lead our offering across all paid digital media channels with experience in programmatic, social, SEM, SMS and more.

As our Paid Performance Lead, your role will:

  • Review, update and oversee all aspects of campaign management processes – campaign strategy, tagging, platform setup, delivery management (pacing, budget, spend)
  • Develop and maintain market and media intel for our planning and client teams including channels, benchmarks, KPIs and more.
  • Identify new paid media opportunities.
  • Leverage our own 1st party data to be market leader in the application of 1st party data to paid performance media
  • Provide strategic recommendations to media team to inform media plans
  • Actively own all campaign activity and focus on continually optimising to drive best results
  • Provide timely alerts to manager and teams in relation to underperforming activity and make recommendations on how to address and improve performance
  • Implement tactics and strategies
  • Develop campaign audience targets and work with 1st party audience data
  • Ensuring the provision of weekly reporting dashboards for clients
  • Liaise between various internal stakeholders

About You:

  • An effective stakeholder communication skills, you demonstrate a positive, professional and collaborative way of working
  • You communicate with confidence in a clear, timely and consistent manner
  • Participate in driving a supportive team environment
  • Support and participate in a safe workplace culture that promotes belonging, advocacy and connection

Your Essential Skills for Success: 

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience within a digital media agency or digital media publisher
  • Experience working with 1st party data, e-commerce/performance campaigns 
  • Experience with DSP consoles ie; DV360
  • Experience running paid social media campaigns through Facebook ads manager – including Facebook and Instagram
  • Experience using adserving technology – ie; Campaign Manager, AppNexus
  • Experience troubleshooting adserving issues, onsite tagging and pixel implementation
  • Experience with campaign ad trafficking & QA through CM, Facebook and Instagram
  • Basic Excel skills required. Intermediate level would be an advantage
  • SEM experience highly desirable 
  • You will have experience of partnering with external stakeholders, experience with sporting clubs, venues and promotors would be advantageous.
