Supporting families and their children in a fun and stimulating environment is all part of the Y’s Out of School Hours Care, (OSHC) that caters for children in kindergarten through to the age of 12.

About the Role

The Y WA is recruiting for a permanent full time OSHC Coordinator for OSHC service located in Kalgoorlie. This service provides Before School, After School and Vacation Care.


  • Lead, supervise and develop your team of educators
  • Develop and evaluate a fun and engaging program based upon YMCA’s Approach to Learning
  • Provide a high-quality service to children, parents and the local community
  • Foster strong relationships with the school community
  • Maintain accurate administration and financial records of the Service

Skills and Experience

  • An ACECQA approved qualification – Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care, Diploma in Children’s Services (0-14), Bachelor of Education or equivalent. (Overseas qualification must be assessed by ACECQA)
  • Supervisor Approval Certificate
  • HLTAID004 first aid certificate
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Clearance
