About Your Role: 

  • This is a hands-on role to drive the user experience and results for Ticketek – one of Australia’s most iconic and dynamic Ecommerce brands. 
  • Using your understanding of user behaviour, analytics and problem-solving skills you will be responsible for driving Conversion Rate Optimisation Strategy across our digital and app platforms. 
  • You will combine your understanding of the latest UX design principles and best practices with an in-depth experience analysing and interpreting on-site behavioural analytics to identify issues and opportunities to improve the user experience and conversion rates at a site wide and an event level.

The Day to Day: 

  • Take responsibility for the overall user experience across our site and apps
  • Ensure the content team are delivering event builds according to best practice, ensuring efficiency and on time delivery
  • Using data and analytics to inform user experience improvements
  • Identifying issues and opportunities on a daily basis to improve user experience at a site wide and event level driving immediate conversion rate improvements
  • Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with multiple stakeholders including data, insights and analytics, marketing, product, and tech. 
  • Participate and contribute to workshops to understand and detail existing and future user experience journeys across our sites/apps, with the purpose of improving the user experience
  • Work with the designer who will bring your strategies to life by illustrating design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
  • Review and input into UI mock-ups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
  • Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
  • Recommend layout adjustments based on user feedback and data
  • Work closely with our Head of Marketing Technology to deliver an ongoing stream of on-site testing.
  • Manage tagging and tracking implementation, and be the businesses GTM champion
  • Provide customer behavioural analytics insights and reports to the broader team.
  • Ensure the best practice implementation within the team of event and marketing campaign analytics tracking and tagging
  • Ensuring our analytics platform provides all necessary analytics and insight 

About You:

  • An effective stakeholder communication skills, you demonstrate a positive, professional and collaborative way of working

Your Essential Skills For Success:

  • Experience in an optimisation/UX role within a large scale Ecommerce environment
  • Proven results in driving CRO programs and conversion uplift
  • Minimum 5 years of professional UX/UI experience with recent experience in responsive web design
  • Strong experience in the website analytics platform such as Google Analytics 360
  • Proven experience using testing platforms such as Optimse.
  • Proven experience of using analytics and data to drive user experience and business decision making
  • Excellent communication skills and developed ability to both manage and work directly with stakeholders.
  • Sound ability to work autonomously.
  • Previous experience working as part of an Agile development team
