The Role

An exciting 12m maternity leave contract opportunity has become available for a generalist office support and book keeping professional.  The role requires a high attention to detail and excellent ability to follow processes to ensure tasks are executed to a high standard. Offering wide exposure to the broader business, you will be involved in planning, coordinating and supporting all facets of the business to ensure its ongoing success.

Day to Day

As an office all rounder, you will have a diverse range of skills and the ability to demonstrate the following experience:

  • Book Keeping (inc. accounts payable and receivable)
  • Process daily bank statement, allocating accurately and completing the bank reconciliation
  • Assist the Accounts team with general accounting tasks and administrative duties
  • Able to build relationships across different internal departments (sales, marketing etc.)
  • Support the sales team with inbound sales inquiries (order follow ups, pricing and availability inquiries etc.)
  • Support the customer service and warranty departments
  • Any other Adhoc administrative tasks

Skills needed

  • TAFE course/qualification or higher in Accounting, Finance or Book-Keeping
  • Excellent Communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Proficient in Microsoft excel and able to manage different computer software systems effectively
  • Multi-tasking skills and able to juggle more than one task at a time
  • High attention to detail with strong organisational skills

Reporting to the Finance Manager based locally, you will be given the support and guidance needed to be successful in your role. The right attitude and a willingness to work to outcomes will be key to success with this organisation.
