About the Role
  
During a time of exciting transformation, there is an opportunity for a Nurse Manager to join our state of the art, Leichhardt practice.
This practice in caters to its community and patients with a wide array of onsite services.

In this role you will provide leadership and operational management to a team of Nurses to ensure the highest standard of patient care is provided.

You will work closely with Practice Manager to maintain efficiency of the Treatment Room while training and mentoring clinical staff.

Key responsibilities

• Provide leadership and effective management to a team of Nurses
• Ensure patient care is provided efficiently and effectively by managing varied clinical procedures as necessary
• Coach, train, and mentor the team, so that they can deliver the best clinical outcomes to all patients
• Maintain the Treatment Room and ensure it is being always run efficiently with appropriate staff numbers, following best practice procedures
• Assist the GP with conducting health assessments, GP management plans and reviews
• Work alongside the Practice Manager to understand the levers of profit and loss within the practice and manage their teams accordingly

  
About You

You will be a Registered Nurse with prior experience in General Practice or an Acute setting; previous experience leading a successful team will be highly regarded, though we will support you with further development if required
You will be passionate about health care and improving the lives of those in our community.

You will play a key role in our medical centre team and evolving business, with the initiative to made decisions and work independently when required.
You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills to engage with patients and colleagues both in person and via clinical communication systems.

We require you to have unrestricted Australian work rights and to supply evidence of your vaccination history and immunity.
