About the role:
We are looking for a vibrant, professionally presented individual with a warm and excellent telephone manner. You must have the ability to work in a team environment with sound communication, interpersonal skills and excellent time management skills.
Skills required for the role:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role
- Knowledge of NDIS and its services
- Experience working with confidential and sensitive information
- A positive approach to the people we support and their families
- Managing and coordinating meetings, including agenda’s, minutes and all other related paperwork
- Additional administration duties as required
- High-level computer skills including Word, Excel, Database and Electronic Record Management System, ability to learn new applications
- Staff must be enthusiastic, motivated and eager to provide care and assistance to the best of their ability whilst following company standards, policies, guidelines and the National Disability Service Standards.
- Experience managing/supervising staff in the Disability sector
- Strong coordination, leadership and peer support skills
- Right to work in Australia
Qualification required for this role:
- Tertiary qualification in related fields
- Working with Children Check
- National Police Clearance
- First Aid Certificate with CPR
- Driver’s license and access to own vehicle
- NDIS worker screening check
