Natural Areas Officer

AlburyCity is the custodian of an environment like no other. If you have a passion for the environment and would embrace working outdoors in some of Albury’s most beautiful areas we may have a job for you.  We have created a new team responsible for the management and maintenance of many of the City’s key natural areas and numerous Significant Environmental Roadside’s. In addition, the team lives and breathes the Wagirra Trail, meets legislative obligations under The Biosecurity Act, 2015, manages habitat for key threatened species and ensures our City has fuel load management and Asset Protection Zone’s implemented.

The position will be responsible for undertaking on ground works associated with AlburyCity’s Natural Areas network. The position will assist in the protection, restoration and maintenance of natural areas, reserves and landscapes and land management projects. 

We are looking for someone who loves a high energy working environment and can bring a great work ethic, knowledge and skills.
