This is an opportunity for a passionate and experienced Mathematics teacher to join a supportive and collegial department that works closely with College staff to support students within Mathematics. You will be passionate about providing personalised learning as an engaging and effective classroom practitioner whose knowledge, skills and passion for Mathematics will inspire students to engage themselves deeply in this subject.
The successful applicant will:
- Be an experienced, highly effective, innovative and motivated educator with a passion for teaching and learning
- Have proven ability to personalise learning for students from Year 7 to Year 12
- Be committed to student academic growth with proven ability in using academic data to inform teaching practice
- Actively foster a culture of mathematical inquiry and collaborative learning
- Be experienced in teaching Stage 6 courses
- Have proven ability to work with and contribute to a team
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Possess a strong knowledge of the NSW Mathematics curriculum
- Be personally committed to learning
- Be an excellent communicator who is collegial, flexible and approachable
- Hold high expectations of self and others
- Possess strong ICT competencies.
- Be willing to be involved in the broader life of the College and actively and enthusiastically support the co-curricular and outdoor education program of the College
- Actively support the Christian mission and values of the College
