This is a multifaceted and super exciting role that will revolutionise our digital presence and have a significant impact on the steel industry. You will be in charge of our social media pages (FB / Instagram / Linkedin) connecting with architects, designers, builders, homeowners and roofers/cladding installers through new and innovative forms of digital engagement.  You will help drive our social media strategy, lead the creation of the content we share, manage interactions, measure, optimise and report our performance, and always be on the lookout for new ways to connect with end-users. Our products are leading edge and we want you to cut through to what would excite the industry, set the scene for influencing what is on-trend and drive demand for our products.

You will also gain a creative licence to drive the look and feel of our brand going forward through the design of all promotional activities, print and digital design requirements.


While we are looking for someone who can operate with a lot of autonomy, you will also be collaborating closely with our team throughout Australia. You will live and breathe all things digital taking the lead in brainstorming content creation, ensuring consistency of messaging and integrity of our brands; through to execution and day to day management of our social media platforms and EDM.

Here are some delicious dot-points about what you’ll be getting up to day-to-day:

  • Involvement in and execution of the strategic and creative direction of our marketing campaigns to engage, educate, entertain, and generate revenue;
  • Taking the reigns of all company social channels and overseeing the social media strategy;
  • Alongside business leaders, you’ll be playing a key role in creating and understanding the customer journey, looking at customer research, understanding market conditions and competitor data to create a customer journey map and identify areas for improvement;
  • Ensuring that our website remains up to date with new relevant, creative and informative content regarding our products and latest news.
  • Developing and executing campaigns including EDM email, segmentation of CRM data, and automation;
  • Ensuring the companies brand message is strong and consistent through branding and positioning strategies;
  • Using data analytics and reporting methods/tools to performance-monitor digital campaigns and track results to maximise the efficiency of campaigns;
  • Coordinate Project photography for content creation; and
  • Designing digital and print work for the company and brands to support our strategy; including designing EDM Templates, social content, brochures, presentation templates, flyers, etc.


Skills and Experience to get the job done

To achieve all of this, you will be highly motivated, love all things social media, have first-class communication skills and love nothing more than coming up with amazing content ideas, together with:-


  • a minimum of 3 years experience in a digital marketing role where you’ve played a key role in both strategy and execution;
  • Proven experience in growing online communities and building brand stories by deploying innovative and varied content;
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a keen eye for detail;
  • Intermediate Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, illustrator- Graphic Design
  • Intermediate WordPress skills
  • Exceptional grasp of Google Analytics (Social insights) and A/B testing functionalities;
  • Experience in email marketing and automation;
  • A depth of experience developing and executing Digital Marketing, Brand and Content strategies across a range of channels;
  • Experience in CRM and automation platforms.
  • Strong ability to be both creative coupled with a deep data-driven approach to how you tackle digital marketing strategy and execution [Basically, numbers matter to you].
