About the opportunity
We are currently looking for a Lecturer /Senior Lecturer in Nutrition and Dietetics. The primary focus of this role is the Lead in Medical Nutrition Therapy responsible for delivery of this stream throughout the Bachelor of Nutrition and Dietetics program. This role includes research and research supervision in related areas. Success in this role requires collaboration with interprofessional teaching team, the professional organisation of Dietitians Australia and external providers.

About you
To be successful within this role, you will be an Accredited Practising Dietitian who has the knowledge and experience to be able to deliver student-focused learning and teaching in the area of Medical Nutrition Therapy. You will possess a doctoral level qualification (or equivalent accreditation and standing) in a field related to Nutrition and Dietetics and evidence of a passion for research and research supervision. In addition you will effectively engage with external partners to deliver an excellent student fieldwork experience and to enhance the professional reputation of Griffith’s Nutrition and Dietetics Discipline.

This is a continuing, full time position based at the Gold Coast campus and it is expected that the successful candidate will be available to attend campus in person as a normal requirement of the role. Further, you may be required to work on either a temporary or an indefinite basis at any premises, which the University currently has or may subsequently acquire or at any premises at which it may from time to time provide services.

Salary range
Lecturer Level B: $98,174- $116,584 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation $114,863 – 136,404.

Senior Lecturer, Level C: $120,263- $138,674 per annum. Salary package including 17% employer superannuation $140,708 – $162,248.
