About the Role
Ideally we are looking for a Licensed Strata Manager with a minimum of 1-2 years of industry experience, and is passionate and enthusiastic about the industry. The role would suit someone who has already established a career in Strata Management and looking for their next challenge.
Your daily duties will include:
- Build relationships with the Body Corporate and be a trusted advisor in all aspects of strata.
- Support the Body Corporate in maintaining the value of their property by coordinating preventative or unplanned repairs and maintenance.
- Organise yourself, people and activities to efficiently and effectively complete tasks within the strata operations workflow.
- Prepare for and attend AGM’s, Extraordinary General Meetings and Committee meetings as required.
- Monitor and advise on the cash flow of the Administrative and Capital Works Fund.
- Manage queries and/or conflicts from clients, owners and contractor.
- Process work orders through to the invoice approval process and completion.
- Efficiently respond to and manage urgent scheme matters and emergencies.
About the candidate:
- Relevant strata management experience and comfortable dealing with complexity
- Acts with the customer in mind and works on establishing effective relationships to gain trust and respect
- Excellent understanding and working knowledge of Strata Act & Regulation
- High-level communicator, both written and verbal
- Ability to build effective and professional relationships with clients and colleagues
- Ability to multi-task and effectively prioritise workload to meet demand
- Desire to add value to the team, be proactive and self-motivated
- Strong problem solving and negotiation skills, ability to work effectively under pressure
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Must be a team player who thrives on collaboration and assisting others to reach desired outcomes
