About the Role: 

The IT Support Officer position is a new position in our growing IT Team. As an IT Support Officer, you will be the first point of contact for IT queries and responsible for the ongoing monitoring of the IT Help Desk function. The role offers great variety and learning opportunities as you are working within a small team spanning across a diverse organisation! 

Some day to day tasks include: 

  • Responding to all IT Help Desk tickets in a prompt and professional manner
  • Resolving IT helpdesk questions in person, over the phone, email and by remote support
  • Maintaining end user accounts, permissions and access rights
  • Installing and testing new hardware and software across the business 
  • Assisting with software installs and updates as required
  • Proactively monitoring and reporting of Help Desk trends 

About You:

Being a small team, our IT team is close knit and energetic; you will be a great fit for the team if you are bubbly, enthusiastic and eager to learn! This role is ideal for someone who has recently completed a qualification in IT. You also must have problem solving skills and the ability to multi-task. It is also essential that you have the ability to positively engage with people to ensure that all users have a positive experience. 

You will definitely catch our eye if you:
