IT Service Desk Analyst

In your new role, you will be the first point of contact for general IT issues and provide Level 1 & Level 2 technical support on staff computing and software systems in order to restore normal operational services in a timely manner.

Some of your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing customer focused Level 1 & 2 support across the business
  • Managing incoming tickets in ServiceNow through to completion
  • Troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues
  • Provisioning new starters and leavers
  • Providing on-call, after-hours support to the organisations 24/7 operations on a rostered basis
  • Contributing to the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Service Desk procedures and systems within an ITIL framework

Required skills and experience:

  • Several years in an IT support role
  • Strong customer service and communication skills
  • Troubleshooting Desktop, Notebooks, VC & AV equipment
  • Knowledge and experience in Windows Active Directory, Azure AD, O365 administration, Windows 10 Professional, Remote access technologies, and ServiceNow (or similar)
  • Building and deployment of PC’s and laptops using MS Intune, and knowledge of PowerShell scripting preferred
  • Sound application support experience including all MS Office applications
  • Relevant industry recognised certifications including ITIL Certification and Microsoft Certification
  • Basic knowledge of IT networking an advantage
