IT Network Administrator

About the role:
A permanent full time opportunity has become available for an experienced IT Network Administrator to join our Innovation and Technology team based at our Norwest office.
Reporting into the Infrastructure Manager and working with a team, you will ensure that the Anglicare Network systems are available, reliable and secure and that technology solutions are delivered to a high standard by adhering to industry best practices, current technology trends and industry expertise, as well as Anglicare’s business requirements.
Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):
• Perform network administration including resolution if IT incidents and requests
• Ensures timely resolutions of IT incidents within our Nursecall systems
as a second -tier escalation point.
• Network cabling is labelled, cabled and patched to technical specifications
• Security & User Access Management
• Contributes to the improvement of Anglicare’s IT infrastructure by recommending and testing new technologies.
• Participates in the IT after hours oncall roster.
About You
•Tertiary qualified in IT with relevant industry experience (5+ years’ experience in delivering technology / infrastructure solutions (project implementation) to medium – large organisations)
• Demonstrated experience in Cisco, in the roll-out of technology projects such as Wi-Fi implementation, unified communication, networking, mobility, cloud solution (such as Office365) and other infrastructure projects.
• Effective communication skills
• Analytical skills and a practical approach to solving business problems.
• Ability to deliver smaller projects from a one-person team and work with a larger group on more complex projects.
