Whilst executing as an Inventory Analyst you will also be working and learning alongside the Buyer and Planner in your category. Opportunities for growth are endless, as you will observe from the Planners & Buyers who have started in the business where you are now.
We are looking for people who would like to;
- Build relationships with suppliers to optimise sales, delivery and lead-times for your department.
- Build and nurture relationships with key stakeholders within and across the organisation.
- Optimise local and overseas deliveries.
- Work strategically with the Planner to reduce and eliminate aged inventory.
- Order and track stock to ensure appropriate levels are in the warehouse to ensure sales and stock level KPIs are achieved.
- Provide recommendations and implement action plans to maximise the department’s financial outcomes
- Allocate stock into Stores for new lines, promotions and new stores
- Monitor the results of allocations and make necessary adjustments
- Support stores with stock issues (e.g. excess stock, out of stocks etc)
- Working with Supply Chain / DCs to manage stock flow
- Analysis, evaluation and recommendations on product and store performance
- Maximising business results through ensuring we have the ‘right product, at the right time, and in right place’
What you will bring:
- Inventory/ Allocation Analyst experience is an advantage
- Understanding of inventory management within a retail environment
- Sound knowledge of demand, fulfilment and inventory systems
- High attention to detail and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Problem solving and resolution skills
- Ability to work well within a collaborative, supportive team environment as well as independently
- Intermediate Excel skills will be highly regarded
