About the Role
An opportunity has arisen for an Internal Communications Officer to join a team that strives to develop engaging and sustainable employee experiences. 

Reporting to the Internal Communications Manager, you will have exceptional ability to juggle multiple priorities and communicate with stakeholders at all levels to deliver strategic employee communications, engagement and experience initiatives. 

  • Leading and coordinating the delivery of change and engagement communications plans including stakeholder engagement, and written and digital communications. 
  • Create alignment between the company vision, values and strategic direction in all internal communications by ensuring consistency across all mediums and across all departments.
  • Working collaboratively to build relationships with stakeholders to deliver communications plans. 
  • Providing support for employee engagement and change campaigns in collaboration with Transformation, HR, Organisation Development and Health, Safety and Wellbeing teams. 
  • Working with the Health, Safety and Wellbeing team as a key communications partner for wellbeing, D&I and safety campaigns and messaging.
  • Support in aligning internal communications with external communications and branding (Marketing and People, Culture & Transformation) to leverage ‘one brand.’

Skills and Experience 

  • Tertiary qualifications in Communications, Public Relations, Media Studies or related field.
  • Demonstrated experience working in an internal communications role and/or general communications role and developing communications plans for projects, initiatives or campaigns. 
  • Experience in implementing change communications and/or employee campaigns. Knowledge of communications best practice.
  • Ability to build relationships and influence stakeholders at different levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal, organisational skills and attention to detail

Remuneration commensurate with experience.
