The role

  • Provide recommendations based on Analysis of requirements and existing applications.
  • Creating new, and updating existing, design artefacts.
  • Creating new, and updating existing system using technologies that include C# .Net/VB6,
  • Web (HTML, ES6, TS), integrations (Kafka, IBM API Connect), SAS Visual Investigator and
  • Intelligence & Investigation Management (IIM).
  • Implementation of proposed changes including liaising collaborating with business users,testing, architects, cyber, release management and operations teams.

The requirements

  • Extensive experience using Visual Studio, C#, .Net/VB6, Web (HTML, ES6, TS), integrations (Kafka, IBM API Connect)
  • Experience in service based technologies such as REST API (Web API 2) and/or WCF
  • Experience with Oracle 11g/12c/PL-SQL application development
  • Experience with DevOps, CI/CD pipelines (Octopus Deploy/Azure DevOps)
  • Experience maintaining VB6 applications
  • Work within an Agile/Scrum environment
  • Developing and maintain CI/CD pipelines using multiple technologies (Azure DevOps, PowerShell, .Net, Octopus Deploy)
  • SAS Visual Investigator and Intelligance & Investigation Management (IIM) development
  • Automated Unit Testing (xUnit)
  • Web UI Development (Angular or Vue.js)
  • Entity Framework or Entity Framework Core
  • Data centric applications
  • Detailed design documentation
