The Role

The HR Generalist is far from a one-dimensional role and will oversee and lead on all things employee related. This will include checking and amending policies and procedures, answering all manner of HR queries, managing all employee issues, to building the HR strategy and looking after all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

You will be managing activities such as payroll administration, recruitment & onboarding, preparation of HR reports, and other HR related tasks. With a proven track record in a generalist HR role, ideally you will also have set up a successful HR function for a business. This role will suit someone with a flexible approach, able to work with a wide range of individuals and adapt their style accordingly.
  
Responsibilities:

  • Develop HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy
  • Manage talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Conduct employee onboarding and help organise training & development initiatives
  • Gather and analyse data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover 
  • Organise quarterly and annual employee performance reviews
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing issues, concerns and conflicts
  • Check all employment practices comply with latest national, state and local regulations
  • Own the HRIS functionality and work with Finance to ensure integration with payroll
  • Ensure that the company culture embraces diversity in our workforce
  • Nurture an inclusive and positive working environment

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
  • Organised and structured way of working, and hands-on problem solver 
  • Strong administrative and organisational skills with proven experience in matters related to payroll, data administration and labour law
