The SCSS Workforce team provide a HR service to a number of statewide services including SA Pathology, SA Medical Imaging, BreastScreen SA and SA Pharmacy.

SCSS is seeking to establish a pool of experienced, high performing and motivated individuals to join our energetic team. Successful candidates will be placed in a pool for a period of 12 months and may be considered for temporary and ongoing positions as they arise within the team.

About the Roles

ASO3

The HR Assistant works under general direction and exercises initiative and judgement.  The incumbent will provide support to the SCSS Workforce by performing a variety of tasks that include:

  • Providing HR administrative support to HR Business Partners;
  • Responding to general enquiries from staff and managers including providing general HR advice;
  • Liaising with Payroll in relation to workforce matters;
  • Assisting in recruitment and on-boarding of new staff;
  • Creating reports for senior management;

The incumbent will work with business leaders and line managers to assist in the identification and achievement of shared organisational objectives which supports in the areas of recruitment and selection, classification and position management, employee relations, training and development, HR compliance, organisational development, Work Health Safety and redeployment.

ASO4 & ASO5

The Workforce Business Partner is accountable and works closely with the Senior Workforce Business Partner for the provision of a quality workforce support function, including the provision of advice to managers and employees on a broad range of operational workforce issues. Operational workforce issues include recruitment and selection, classification management, employee relations, performance review and development, workforce planning, misconduct and compliance, organisational design and development and general case management. The Workforce Business Partner is responsible for building relationships with the business, which support managers and staff, as well as promoting and modelling best practice across SCSS.  The position is also responsible for maintaining efficient work practices and ensuring the provision of effective customer service. At the ASO5 level, the Workforce Business Partner is responsible for the delivery of a broad range of HR services which target current and future organisational needs.  This requires working closely with business leaders and/or line managers to identify and achieve shared organisational objectives. The Workforce Business Partner supports the implementation of proactive workforce strategies and interventions within services across the designated portfolio(s) in order to drive continuous improvement, performance and accountability and a culture that assures the achievement of the organisational workforce goals and objectives.

ASO6

The Senior Workforce Business Partner co-leads the implementation of proactive workforce strategies and interventions within services across the designated portfolio(s) in order to drive continuous improvement, performance and accountability and culture. Working closely with the Director of Workforce to provide support to Executives, Directors and Senior Managers, you will contribute to the achievement of SA Government, SA Health and Central Adelaide LHN and SCSS strategic goals and priorities. As a senior member of the broader Workforce team, the Senior Workforce Business Partner identifies business risks and provides expert support and advice on complex matters to the team.
